Obituary of Delores Virginia Green

Green, Delores V. West Branch, MI Delores, age 83, passed away at home with her son-in-law Bob by her side, on April 12, 2022. She was born April 29, 1938 to the late Andrew and Leola Foote of West Branch. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Parish, helped with K of C Bingo, enjoyed bowling, and was a past member of both Pioneer Power Tractor Club and West Branch Rods & Relics. She enjoyed visits with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandson; watching the birds at the feeders outside her kitchen window; her pets through the years; getting out in her flower beds and vegetable gardens; and making her famous baked beans for gatherings. She retired from the Tolfree Memorial Hospital after having worked as a nurse’s aid as well as a desk clerk. She is survived by Yvonne (Bob) Mahl of West Branch, MI, Karen Green of Tawas, MI, Kim Green of Alabama, Wanda (Van) Webb of Vero Beach, FL., Byron (Michelle) Green of West Branch, MI, Scott (Lori) Green of Trenton, MI. and Carol Curtis of Shelby, MI; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Vern Green; sons, Andrew Green and Leslie Green; and sisters, Revia, Karen and Maybell Foote. A Funeral Mass will be April 23, 2022 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 935 W. Houghton Ave. West Branch, Michigan, 48661, with Father Emmanuel Finbarr officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the church prior to the service on April 23, 2022 from 10 am – 11 am.
