Obituary of Elijah Ronald Lake

Please share a memory of Elijah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elijah Ronald Lake (aka “Eli”, “Emize”, “Mizer”, and of course my “Baby”) passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his loving wife by his side on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. After fighting a courageous battle with cancer, Eli was taken from us way too early, at the young age of 40. Eli was a loving husband and father who was known for making people laugh, having the best smoke around, and photo-bombing every picture with his middle finger! He loved to travel and either wanted his toes in the sand on a beach or the wind in his face on his snowmobile. He was a unique, unforgettable character that was greatly loved and will be missed by many. He will be deeply missed by his wife Amanda; his children, Destiny, Landen, Isabella, Milania, and Giana; and his step-children, Mason and Savana; his mother, Marlene (Kelly); father, Ronald (Tina); brother, Christopher (Nicole); and sister, Sandra. He was preceded in death by his son Gavin. There will be a graveside service at 12 pm, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Floral Gardens Cemetery 2215 Cass Avenue Road, Bay City, MI. A potluck luncheon will follow the service at Lincoln Road Hall, 79 S. Lincoln Road, Bay City MI. Please join us to share memories and enjoy all of his favorite foods (for anyone who wants to share a dish). In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be used toward the purchase of a fitting headstone. Condolences may be sent to: 3408 Kraushaar Road, Standish, MI 48658.
