Important lessons I learned from Mom Dorothy:
1. Reading books is a wonderful pastime.
2. Life is too short to iron clothes... buy permanent pressed
3. Never tell your family, after just serving dinner "I bet you don't know what you just ate!"
4. It is important to always have a positive attitude towards life.
5. It never hurts to order macaroni and cheese at a restaurant, and then ask if it can be made dairy-free.
6. The higher the thread count, the softer the cotton sheet
7. Your kids will eventually appreciate the fact that you baked homemade bread for them when they were young.
8. Be adventuresome... even when you are old.
