Obituary of David Paul Williams

David Paul Williams, age 70, of Roscommon, Michigan passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 31, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Vernon and Pearl (Hayter) Williams. David graduated from Plymouth High School in 1969 and served in the United States Air Force. He later attended Davenport University where he served as President of Student Government and received a Bachelors of Business Administration. David spent much of his career in auto sales and finance, traveling extensively and meeting new people. He was always the life of the party and a friend to everyone he met. David enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, music of every genre, sports, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid supporter of Special Olympics, and had a special place in his heart for his canine companions. David is survived by his children, Chris (Heather) Williams of Puryear, TN, Candis Wood of Murray, KY, Curtis Williams of Murray, KY, and Danielle (Jeff) Janisse of Roscommon, MI; grandchildren, Hunter, Ross, Zeke, Drew, Brenna, Joey, and Cameron; great-grandchild, Thomas; sister, Patricia (Mark) Lutz; sister-in-law, Carol Williams; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Richard Williams. A Celebration of David’s life will be held in the summer.
