Obituary of Mary Ellen Mullally

Mullally, Mary Ellen Zilwaukee, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Mary Ellen Mullally passed away April 29, 2022 at the age of 72. She was born January 23, 1950 to the late Roland and Ruth Champagne in Zilwaukee, Michigan and married Michael M. Mullally on January 24, 1970. Mary Ellen leaves her husband and children, Michael (Sana) Mullally, Lori (Brad) Gipson, and Katie (Ryan) Conley. Survivors also include, 9 grandchildren, Cassandra, Abigail, Myles, Bradley, Briar, Miranda, Xander, Emily, and Claudia; 2 great-grandchildren, Riven and Raiden; sister, Kathy (Dick) Malesky; sisters-in-law, Olga Champagne and Marilyn Champagne; and several nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her brothers Tom Champagne, Frank (Marylou) Champagne, and Larry Champagne; and sister Sharleen (Jerry) Lunt. Mary Ellen had an income tax business for 23 years, served on the Zilwaukee City Council for 8 years, and graduated from St. Andrews. She can be proud to leave behind a legacy of love and caring through her children and grandchildren. Her interests were traveling, visiting relatives, cooking, and above all else, being with her grandchildren. A Memorial Service will take place at 11 A.M., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. John Paul II Parish, 469 Shattuck Rd, Saginaw, Michigan. Father Andy LaFramboise will officiate. Friends may visit with family at church prior to the service from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
