John “Tony”, age 59, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. He was born December 11, 1962 to George & Donna (Blow) Deim. John loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter, proudly displaying his trophy mounts. John’s other hobbies were wood working (specializing in turkey box calls) and metal detecting. John especially loved Mossy Oak camouflage. John was a kind and gentle man whom everyone loved and enjoyed spending time with.
He is survived by survived by his children, Christina Proffitt and John (Jeanne) Deim II; grandchildren, Landen Deim, Addelynn Proffitt, Jordan (Dylan) Gracia, and Jeremy McManus; great-grandchild, Emmett, Gracia; father, George Deim (Elizabeth Juahesz); siblings, Stephen Deim, Elizabeth (Brian) Mohn, Laura (Henry) Vettraino, Daniel Deim, and George Deim. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Deim and sister-in-law, Jacolyn Deim. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 on the Deim family property.
