Obituary of Ronald Leroy Merritt

Ronald L. Merritt of Lake Station, Michigan passed away May 12, 2022 at the age of 84. He was born in Olivet Michigan on June 10, 1938 to the late Donald J. Merritt and the late Beatrice M. Field. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and traveling. Ron delivered Buyer’s Guides for many years, and was still actively working. He was also active in his church and enjoyed the fellowship he shared there. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; brother, Stanley; and children, Brian, Donald, and Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews (including David who was there through thick and thin). He was predeceased by his siblings, Maxine, Bernice, Wanda, Evelyn, Ken, Dan, and Albert; and a special friend, Butch. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, May 24, 2022 at Brinton Chapel, 8026 W. Stevenson Lake Road, Lake, Michigan.
