Obituary of Pamela Sue Locke

Pamela Sue Locke went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in Bay City on April 29, 1951, the daughter of the late Fred and Barbara (Friebe) Schneller. Pam was a graduate of Michigan State University (MSU), where she met her husband, Roy H. Locke Jr. On February 16, 1973, she and Roy began their 49 years of marriage. A dedicated and loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend, Pam relished serving others and gave of herself generously. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bay City, just like her parents and grandparents before her, and her daily hope was found in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pam is survived by her husband, Roy; daughter, Stephanie (Jonathan) Bechtel; son, Jonathan Locke; grandchildren, Joshua and Elizabeth Bechtel; brother, Paul (Kristine) Schneller; and nephews, Steven (Angie) Schneller, Matthew (Jennifer) Schneller, Christopher Schneller; niece, Barbara (Eliseo) Ruiz; and her great nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Bay City. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with service at 12:00 p.m. The family will have a private burial at Floral Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
