Obituary of Kay Leone Belanger

Belanger, Kay Leone Cowan West Branch, Michigan Kay, age 85, passed away on June 7, 2022 with her children by her side. She was born in West Branch Michigan, April 30, 1937 to the late Earl and Vineta Cowan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Branch Michigan. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, rather it be fishing, playing cards, doing crafts, or just sitting and watching the birds. She retired from West Branch Regional Medical Center in 1999. She is survived by her sister, Jeanine Ann Smith of Flint Michigan; her children, Allen (Elaine) Belanger of Saint Helen Michigan, Daniel (Elizabeth) Belanger of West Branch Michigan, and Cindy Poirier of Tawas Michigan; grandchildren, Dustin Belanger, Taihja Belanger, Tiffany Belanger, Neil Belanger, Danielle Belanger, Andrew Belanger, Nicholas Gorske, Nathan Gorske, Mark Dora, and Brendan Poirier; great-grandchildren, Aurora and Abbigail Smith, Grayson Bouchard, Danika and Dylan Belanger, Noah Ross, and Kolton and Kaydan Poirier. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Vineta Cowan and son-in-law, Timothy Poirier. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at First United Methodist, 2490 State Road, West Branch Michigan. The family will receive friends at church prior to the service from 10 AM – 11 AM.
