Obituary of Anthony Francis Walraven

Francis Anthony Walraven Jr., age 73 of Essexville, caring, fun loving, hard-working, father, brother, uncle and friend, was born into eternal life on the morning of Wednesday June 8, 2022. He was born in Bay City on November 27, 1948. He was the son of the late Anthony Sr. and Helen Walraven. Throughout life Anthony was known for his love for deer hunting, fishing, farming, driving his tractor, being with his family, and just loved being outdoors in nature. He leaves to cherish his memory, his hard working and amazing son, Anthony III; his beautiful daughter, Lisa; his 3 wonderful sisters, Sherry, Sue, and Pam; many nieces and nephews; a very special acknowledgment to his god-daughter, Kim; and his cousin, Mark Walraven. Anthony was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Anthony Sr.; his mother, Helen; and his brother-in-law, John Comment. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be directed to the Veterans of America. A burial service for the family and close friends will be held at a later date.
