Mr. Shorkey, age 80, died on Sunday July 24, 2022. Larry Joseph was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 25, 1941 to the late Robert H. and Elaine C. (Grandmason) Shorkey. Larry worked for the City of Bay City and retired in 1997 after many years of service. Mr. Shorkey is survived by his son, Larry (Mary) Shorkey Jr. of Bay City and his daughter Vickie Thomsen of Bay City. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his wife Donna (Bodine) Shorkey. Per Larry’s request, cremation has taken place and no service is planned. To sign online guestbook visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com
