Obituary of Marianne Smith

Marianne Smith (Devincent, Galligan), age 90, of Traverse City Michigan, passed away August 3, 2022.  She was born June 1, 1932 to Joseph M Galligan and Searphine V. Burnet.  She enjoyed knitting and playing dominoes.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery M. Devincent and Kevin S. Devincent; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lyle A Smith; son, Daniel J. Devincent; daughter, Lisa Brown (Devincent); and grandson, Shawn A. Devincent.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Cherryland Humane Society of Traverse City MI.  A Life celebration will be held from 2pm – 4 pm,  Friday, September, 2, 2022 from 2 to 4pm at East Bay Calvary Church, 2225 E.
