When I die, and they lay me to rest,

Goin’ up to the Spirit in the Sky.

Chuck went up to the Spirit in the Sky on August 3, 2022. He was 62 years old. Chuck was born June 8, 1960 to Virginia (Kellett) Lyons and the late Don Lyons. He attended Saginaw Public Schools, and then joined the Army Reserve. Chuck held a variety of jobs in the service industry. Chuck was a quiet, reflective soul with a witty, sarcastic side. Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, along with hunting and fishing. Chuck was also an extreme animal lover, adopting many dogs throughout his lifetime, as well as enjoying his pet birds and many fish tanks. Chuck loved watching all sports, but his true passion was with the Detroit Red Wings.

Chuck is survived by his mother Virginia “Toots” Lyons, sister Sue (Doug) Kohl, brother Rick (Terri Stark) Lyons.  His nieces and nephews who were so special to him; Nick Bernard, Jill Bank, Brett (Niki Crawford) Lyons, Blake (Casey) Lyons, and Brooke Lyons. Also, his great nieces and nephews who all loved “Uncle Cukka” so very much; Mia, Evelyn, Emmett, Scott Jr. and Maguire. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

At the request of Chuck, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the American Legion Post #439, 5190 Weiss St., Saginaw, MI from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Private interment will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to Covenant Cancer Care Center and Promedica Hospice, especially Ayesha, Skylar, and Tanya for their excellent care during his illness.
