Shirley E. (Kimmel) Lenhard

Shirley Lenhard, age 95, of Gagetown passed away surrounded by her children on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Shirley was born April 28, 1927 to Glenn D. and Gertrude A. (Green) Kimmel. Shirley married William Lenhard on May 12, 1948 in St. Agatha Catholic Church, Gagetown.

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Thomas Lenhard, Tim and Denise Lenhard, James Lenhard and Mike Moretz, Anne Lenhard and Mark Abbe, Mary and William Pringle and Sue and Dennis Boykin.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Deann (David) Matice, Jeffrey (Jill) Lenhard, Jenny Lenhard (Tim Sharpe), Chad (Missy) Lenhard, Jonathon (Amy) Lenhard, and Tara (Brent) Schermerhorn; six step- grandchildren, Bryan Abbe and Rob (Heather) Abbe, Amy (Doug) Borchard, Cristina Pringle, Martin (Paola) Pringle and Laura Boykin; eleven great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; son, Jon; and siblings, Dolores Schiavone, Wanda Perry, and Dale Kimmel.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Agatha in Gagetown from 11:00a-11:30a with memorial service at 11:30a. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gagetown Beautification Fund, St. Agatha Food Pantry, or St. Agatha Perpetual Cemetery Fund.
