Obituary of Walter Henry Carter

Walter Henry Carter, age 71, of Breckenridge, Michigan succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw.  He was born on August 20, 1951 to the late Delbert and Edna (Vibber) Carter, in Alma, Michigan.

Walt was a member of American Legion Post #295 and the Elks Lodge #1400.  He enjoyed reading, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and having a beverage with friends and family.  Walt is survived by his son, Tighe (Ashleigh) Carter; daughter, Jillian Preller (Ryan Russell); grandchildren, Lillian and Vivian Carter; and sister, Sue (John) Belles.

A celebration of life will be held at 7 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Breckenridge American Legion Post #295, 220 E. Monroe Rd., Breckenridge MI.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Aleda E.
