Passed away peacefully on September 12, 2022 at the age of 68, surrounded by family. He was born in Detroit MI on January 9, 1954. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and M&M Hunting Club. Bob enjoyed deer and duck hunting, fishing, and was passionate about golfing, boating, water and snow skiing. He was an avid outdoors man and fan of U of M football.
He was active in the IZOD Club (for Bob). He won numerous Christmas decoration awards thought out the years and a key to the city. He sponsored the Off Shore boat races, tough man contests, and Southend Little League.
Bob was in the car business for over 42 years and was the #1 salesman in the Detroit Zone. Bob was passionate about selling himself, not the product. He was a legend in Bay City on bulletin boards and flyers in the sky.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Mazzara; his children, Chad (Rochelle) Mazzara, Jimmy (Traci) Rezmer, Kevin Drayer and Alyssa Drayer; granddaughters, Adrian and Harmony; brother, Larry Mazzara; sister, Sylvia Barbe; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Jessica Elizabeth Mazzara; and grandmother, Jean Davis-Snyder.
Bob was raised by the Monville and Asbury families. He considered you his brothers and sister.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm at the Bay Valley Christian Church, 2535 Wilder Rd, Bay City, MI 48706, followed by a toast at Jake’s, 114 3rd St, Bay City, MI 48708.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Bay County, Bay County Animal Services and Adoption Center, Southend Little League, or Bay Valley Christian Church.
