Beth departed this world to be with the Lord on September 14, 2022.  She was born September 22, 1956 by to the late Frank and Geraldine Smolen; and adopted by her mother, Olga Champagne and her father, the late Thomas Champagne.  Beth was a devote catholic, endearing mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, lover of animals, culinarian, mentor of children, and great friend to many. Beth enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking with family, telling jokes, and 60’s Rock Music. She was truly genuine and one of a kind. She touched people’s hearts just by simply being herself, and will be greatly missed by many. 

Bethany is survived by her mother, Olga Champagne; children, Steven Lepeak Jr. and Kari & Joseph Mularz; grandchildren, Channah Lotter, Megan Lepeak, Lucas Slater, Izabel Lepeak, and Liam Mularz; siblings, David Smolen, Geraldine Burleson, Michael and Connie Champagne, and Thomas Champagne Jr; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Geraldine Smolen and Thomas Champagne; and a brother, Kenneth Smolen.

A Memorial Service for friends and family, will be held at 1 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 903 Ryan Road, Caro, Michigan. Food and beverages will be provided from 2-4. All are welcomed to attend.
