Obituary of Janice Lorraine Wortman

Janice L. Wortman, of Bay City, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born to the late Delbert Earl Adams Jr. and Ruth M. Adams in Bay City, Michigan, on December 8, 1952. Janice enjoyed a long career in hospitality, and worked in the industry for 30 years and 8 months. She had helped to open the Ashman Court Hotel in Midland, Michigan (now known as The H hotel) and was currently employed at the SpringHill Suites Hotel, also in Midland. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin.

She is survived by husband, Ronald J. Wortman; son, Delbert E. Bolesky; step-daughter, Christina S. Wortman; and grandchildren Kimberly Bolesky, Emily Bolesky, Lillian Bolesky, Annabelle Wortman, Allie Wortman, Abraham Wortman, and Aubrey Wortman. She was predeceased by father, Delbert E. Adams Jr.; mother, Ruth M. Adams; and brother, Gary A. Adams.

A memorial service will be held at SpringHill Suites Hotel, 800 Joe Mann Blvd, Midland MI, on Monday, October 10, 2022 beginning at 10 am.
