Obituary of Kathleen Helen Blake

Blake, Kathleen “Kathy” Helen (nee Kunath) of Sterling, MI, formerly Warren, MI., passed away peacefully on October 8, 2022 at the age of 91 with her family by her side.  She was born on April 12, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Mark and Helen Kunath. She was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #6756, Menge Post in Centerline, MI. Kathy loved playing Bingo, travelling, playing cards and being with family.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Williams; son, Donald (Angie) Smith; brothers, Robert (Eva) Wojtanowski, Louis Wojtanowski, and Patricia (Robert) Goiki; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her second husband, Billy Blake; sons, Wayne Smith, Leonard Smith and Richard Smith; and siblings, Lawrence Kunath, Lucille Grobbel, Betty Bommarito, Harold Kunath, James Kunath, Anthony Wojtanowski, Stanley Wojtanowski and Paul Wojtanowski.
