We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather Michael K Winchell. He passed away peacefully at age 65 surrounded by family and friends on October 11, 2022. Michael was born to the late Ray and Harriet (Snyder) Winchell. Michael married the late Barbara Jo Bourcier on April 21, 2001.

Michael graduated from Handy High School in 1976 and retired from Michigan Sugar of Bay City after 25 years. He loved golfing, fishing, horseshoes and cook outs with family and friends. He also loved being a jokester and telling jokes.

He is survived by his children, Michael (Danyell) Winchell Jr, Melissa (Pat) Jamrog, Karen (Matt) Winchell and Steven (Shaina) Winchell. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Alexis, Brooklynn, Destyni, Gabriel, Ashlynn, Dominic, and Karleigh. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Harriet Winchell; wife Barbara; and many other family members.
