Betty passed away on October 12 2022 at the age of 75. She was born in Saginaw on October 31,1946 to the late Walter and Eleanor Griebel, and was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

She is survived by daughters, Jill (Brad) LaGuire and Gretchen (Matt) Pinet; gandchildren Steven (Jessica) Haremski, Allison Haremski, Cassidy Fehn, Sam Fehn, Abigail LaGuire, and Brett Pinet; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Isaac, Makayla, Jacob, Nakoda, and Mateo; sisters, Sharilyn (Tim) Dupuis and Marcia (Tim) Lyke. She was predeceased by her husband Pete Cherry, on August 11 1990.

 A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon, October 22, 2022, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2565 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw, Michigan 48609, with a luncheon immediately following the service.  Pastor Kirk Abatelli will officiate.
