Mrs. Legner passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born on February 26, 1933 to the late Charles and Carrie (Lee) Zimmer of Bay City. Charlotte was also predeceased by the love of her life Donald C. Legner whom she married on April 7, 1953. Charlotte was an active at the PLAV, and was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Kawkawlin. She enjoyed flowers, spending time gardening, canning, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three sons; Mike (Vicki) Legner, Mark (Patrice) Legner, and Donald Legner Jr., grandchildren; Katie (Kyle) Papworth, Adam (Whitney) Legner, Donald “Joedon” (Jenna) Legner, Melissa Legner, Sumer Legner, and Paige (Gary) Brand; great-grandchildren; Harper Legner, Sadie Legner, Leah Papworth, Grey Papworth, Marcus Zavala, Alexis Zavala, Kayle Legner, Madelyn Legner, Finlee Legner, and Landon Brand, great-great-grandchildren; Aviyelle Zavala and Avery Zavala. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews and special friends.  Charlotte was predeceased by her granddaughter Brooke Legner.

A service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church, 997 E.
