Clinton, age 82, passed away on October 19, 2022.  He was born on September 23,1940 to the late Clinton E. and Evangeline B. Chadwell. He retired from the Ingham County Sheriff's Department as a lieutenant in 1995 after 30 years of service.  He was a member of the Onondaga Community Church, the NRA, and the FOP.  He was a man of faith; he enjoyed family and friends; enjoyed all sports; and he was the hunter man.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Phillip L. Chadwell of Midland, Scott P. Chadwell of Jackson, and Clinton M. Chadwell of Mason; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Merlene D. Chadwell in 2016; his daughter, Dawn M. Chadwell in 2011; and a granddaughter, Maria A. Chadwell in 2018.

His Life Celebration will be held at 11:00 am, November, 10, 2022 at the Onondaga Community Church, 4474 S. Onondaga Rd, Onondaga MI, 49264, with Pastor Bill Muller officiating.
