Obituary of Gay Ellen Miller

Gay E. (Bladecki) Miller, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her home in West Branch. Gay was the fourth child born to Alfred J. and Delight (Johnson) Bladecki on June 8, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan. Gay grew up in Bay City, Michigan and graduated from Handy High School. She lived many years in Las Vegas, NV, and moved to West Branch, Michigan in 2010.

Gay is survived by her son, Nickolas Appoloney of Rochester, New York; her daughter, Ashley (William) Doyle of Shamong, New Jersey; grandchildren, Alaric & Calvin Appoloney, Lila Delight, Lawton James, twins Keegan Patrick & Keller Joseph, Jasper William, & Fiona Jane Doyle. Also surviving are her mother and stepfather, Delight & Robert McGrandy; her brothers, Jeffrey (Renee) Bladecki & Gene (Debra) Bladecki, of Bay City MI; her sister, Joy Stauffer, of Escondido CA., and Paul Kasmarek, a cousin who was raised as a brother to her; special cousin, Angela Aves; nephews, Jordan (Kristina) Bladecki and Alex Bladecki; nieces, Dr. Jacy Stauffer (Brett Lindstrom), and Justine Stauffer. Also surviving are a very dear and close friend, William “Woody” Miller of West Branch; her children’s fathers, Randy (Miki) Miller & Anthony Appoloney. She was predeceased by her father, Alfred J Bladecki; her grandmother, Clara Johnson, with whom she was very close; grandparents, Stanley and Mary Bladecki; and Delight Harding, a cousin who was raised as a sister to her; and her aunts, Shirley Aves & Marilyn Donald.

As she wished, cremation has taken place and no service is planned.
