Shawn passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 52. He was born on March 31, 1970 to Patricia Ann Passage (Ther) and the late John Michael Passage. Shawn enjoyed playing the guitar, watching NASCAR, and was an avid fan of the Lions and Red Wings. Shawn is survived by his sister Michelene M. Norton (Passage), and her fiancé Jay Szczepanski. Also surviving is his nephew Kyle D. (Sasha) Norton, great nephew Carson Norton and great niece Elaina Norton. Shawn was predeceased by his grandparents Mary E. Ther, Joseph P. Ther, Robert D. Passage and Mary I. Passage. He was also predeceased by his uncles Timothy Passage and Daniel Passage, as well as his special cat Franklin Bernard. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service being held at 1:30 P.M. on November 5, 2022 in the back room of Northern Bar and Grill 353 State Park Dr. Bay City, Michigan 48706. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice or their local food pantry.
