Obituary of Marylee Irwin

Please share a memory of Marylee to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Our beloved sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully October 31, 2022 with her family at her side after a brief illness.  Marylee was born in January 1960 in Bay City, MI to the late Duncan and Joanne (Genow) Irwin.  She enjoyed socializing with family and friends, talking on the phone, shopping, going to concerts, camping and an occasional trip to the casino.

Marylee is survived by her brothers, Michael (Charline) Irwin, and Darrell (Debbie) Irwin; her cousins who were like siblings, Marilyn (Dennis) Carrier, Maureen (Alex) Simmon, Patty Kilvington, Margie Maxwell, and Brenda (Steve) Sittler; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, Joanne Abram along with numerous other friends; cousins; and her dog Marley.  She was predeceased by her cousin Neil Maxwell and friend Harold Coppinger.

Marylee has always been a loving, generous person.  Her last gift was as an organ donor so that others may live.   The family would like to thank Great Lakes Pace for the excellent care they provided.   Cremation has taken place per Marylee’s wishes and a private service is planned.   To sign online guestbook, visit  Arrangements made through the Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan.
