Obituary of James Gordon Patty

James G. Patty of Sanford MI passed away on November 25, 2022 at the age of 70. He was born on March 2,1952 to the late Frank and Maxine (Boyle) Patty of Midland MI. He was a member of the Sanford Eagles #3677 and the Sanford Moose Lodge #2519. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing the bones, hunting, camping, boating, and spending quality time with family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Shane and his favorite daughter-in-law, Tabitha Patty of Midland; his daughter Jamie Patty and her significant other Jason McWethy of Sanford MI; Bobbie Kitzman, the mother of his children; grandchildren, Dana Patty, Hollie Potter, Spencer Mott, Kazyn Patty, Kayden Patty, and Brooke Patty; great-grandchildren, Tylie Patty and Abigail Barker; sisters, Joanne Church and Iva Ervay; brother, Jack Patty; and many nieces, nephew, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Gayle Butler, Ray Boyle, and Paul Patty; and sister, Maurine Sanderson.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Midland Municipal Cemetery, 3220 Orchard Dr., Midland MI 48640, with a Celebration of Life being held at 1 pm, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3677, 508 W.
