Obituary of Thomas Charles Fry

Thomas C. Fry, age 62, of Bay City Michigan, passed away December 6, 2022.  He was born in Bay City on December 5, 1960 to Robert and Thelma Fry.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and enjoyed bowling, golfing, jigsaw puzzles, spending time with his family, and listening to rock music.   He was an avid fan of the Red Wings Hockey, University of Michigan, and Detroit Lions football.

He is survived by his wife, Susan K. (Chambers) Fry; children, Hannah and Raymond Fry; brothers, Bill (Val), Jim (Sherry) and Don Fry; step-brothers, Todd (Ellen), Rodney (Donna), and Brian (Theresa) McFarland.  He was predeceased by his step-father, Floridian Kenneth McFarland.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Nichole Metevia RN from McLaren Hospice for her compassionate care and friendship, which made her more than “his nurse”, she became family.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 P.M. at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, Michigan. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
