Obituary of Doralee Mae Schulz

Doralee Schulz (Engelhardt), 61 of Pigeon, MI passed away suddenly on December 12, 2022. Doralee was the youngest of seven children and was born on October 29, 1961 to the late Elmer and Leola Engelhardt of Sebewaing. Doralee graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing area schools and was a caregiver for the elderly. 

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Sebewaing and enjoyed crafting, being outside, gardening and flowering. Doralee was an animal lover who shared her home with cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and a bunny. Doralee was a loving wife of 40 years to her husband, Gary Schulz and a caring mother to two children, Matthew Schulz and Emily Edler. Doralee was also a grandmother, aunt, and sister who loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandson. 

Doralee is survived by her husband, Gary Schulz; children, Matthew, Schulz (Laura Keyworth), and Emily (Michael) Edler; grandson, Kayden Edler; siblings, Arthur Engelhardt, Roger (Linda) Engelhardt, Judy (Ken) Fuerst, Ronald Engelhardt, and Mark Engelhardt, Godchildren, Calvin Fuerst, Renee Crumm, Daniel Azarovitz, and John Schuette; brother-in-law, Dale Schulz, and Wayne Schulz; sister-in-law, Bonnie Schulz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Leola Engelhardt; brother, Robert Engelhardt; nephew, Charlie Engelhardt; father-in-law, William Schulz; mother-in-law, Edna Schulz; brother-in-law, Ronald Schulz; and sisters-in-law, Vera Engelhardt and Christine Schulz.
