Obituary of Rosemary Parker

Saginaw, Michigan

 

Rosemary, age 85, passed away at the Toni & Trish Hospice House December 22, 2022, after a short battle with lung cancer.  She was born April 13, 1937, to the late Cecilia (Gorney) and Edward Smith.  She was adopted at the age of 10 by Irene (Fedder) and Eugene LaLonde Sr., and was the youngest of nine children.  Rosemary was a bookkeeper for 10 years at Mack Truck Sales, a Private Club Manager for 12 years, and a Caregiver for many years.  She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. 

 

She is survived by her only daughter, Debra K. and husband Harold Jacobs Jr.; four “very special” grandchildren, Katie (Scott) Knaub, Kristy Guymer (Zach Colston), Emily (Michael) Putman, and Adam Jacobs; and great-grandsons, Parker and Deacon Guymer.  She also leaves behind her faithful furbaby, Susie.

 

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Toni & Trish House in Auburn, Michigan, and Covenant VNA senior care for their compassionate care.

 

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place., and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
