Obituary of Germaine Theresa Dean

Germaine T. “Gerry” Dean, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on January 6, 2023.  She was born March 18, 1932 in Bay City Michigan to the late Joseph and Mary (Perry) Gruszczynski.  Gerry enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grand children, as well as spoiling the family’s dogs.   She also enjoyed feeding and watching the local birds and trying her luck at the local casinos.

She is surived by her husband, William L. Dean; daughter, Joyce M. (Paul) Kelley; grandchildren, Sarah (Darrell) Simmons, Rachel (Ben) Gaughan, and Mary (Noah) Reiber; great-grandchildren, Steven Simmons and Clark Simmons; sister-in-law, Betty Perry; and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Leonard Perry, Ray Perry, Ernie Perry, and Alfred (Evelyn) Perry.

A Memorial Service is being scheduled for a later date.
