Obituary of Alan Leroy Weaver

Alan passed away February 7, 2023, at the age of 72 years.  He was born November 12, 1950, to the late Albert and Betty Weaver in Saginaw, MI.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and in his younger years he had built and raced his own car in the local Rookie Race Car circuit along with his best friend, Tom Perry.

Al also enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool.  He was also on a bowling league for many years.

Al also enjoyed hunting with his nephew Victor Johnson and fishing with his nephew Robert Romo.

He worked 44 years for Consumers Auto Parts and also enjoyed working on family and friend’s vehicles and the neighbor’s farm equipment in Lupton.

He is survived by his siblings: Janet Johnson, David Weaver, Lana (Bob) Romo, and Larry Weaver.  He also is survived by 10 nieces and nephews:  Robert (Lisa) Romo, Joe  (Kathy) Romo, Matt (Katie) Romo, Lesleigh (Mike) Lacusta, Victor (Holly) Johnson, Candi (Joern) McHale, Renee Weaver, David Weaver, Larry Weaver, and Heather Weaver.  He is also survived by his only godchild, Scott Perry.  He was predeceased by his best friend, Tom Perry.
