Cummings, Frederick V. Jr.

Saginaw, Michigan

Frederick went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2023, at the age of 68. He was born in Au Gres on February 28, 1954, to the late Frederick V. and Gladys E. Cummings. He attended Calvary Community Church in Saginaw, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and computer gaming. Earlier in his life, he became the Vice-President of a motorcycle club that strived to help the community. Later, he supported his family for many years as a truck driver and instructor until he became disabled. He then became a chaplain of the RU, and Tri-cap ministries in which he helped mentor and reform former addicts and convicts which he greatly enjoyed. 

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cummings; his sons, Luis A. Covarrubias, David A. Covarrubias, and Gabriel M. Cummings; his brother, David (Betty) Kiefer; sister-in-law, Cathie Cummings; mother-in-law, Epifania Huron; many nieces, nephews, and good friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Mike Cummings and Leo Cummings.
