Obituary of Rose Marie Pittman

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on March 11, 2023. She was 90 years old. Rose was born on March 10, 1933, in Northport, Michigan, to the late Earl and Laura (LaLonde) Kennedy. On November 22, 1952, Rose married the love of her life, Donald Gene Pittman. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2018. Throughout her lifetime, Rose loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed many years of camping and exploring the outdoors.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Connie Lijewski, Brian (Connie) Pittman, Crystal Robertson, and Susan (Brian) Valeck; nine grandchildren: Dale (Desa), Shawn, Ryan, Bryan, Samantha (Robert), Tyler (Caitlin), Melissa (Chris), Jeremy (Taeia), Zachary (Jennifer); 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 4 Sisters-in-Law: Geradline Otstedal, Marlene (Jan) Janiuk, Maxine Schultz, and Ruth Pittman; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Dermont, Jack, Alan, and Kim; and 1 sister: Swannie.

At the request of her family, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at Kris Kay Mobile Home Clubhouse located at 1800 S Graham Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
