Our loved one, Doreen, passed away at the age of 92, on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in England on March 11, 1931 to the late John and Mable Taylor.  While in England, she remembered knitting scarves and mittens for the soliders during WWII.  She and her husband, Stan Kreska, came to America from England in 1952 on the Queen Mary. Eventually they moved to Bay City and began their family here. She was a wonderful cook, a knitter, and a baker (especially her pies); but above all she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was her life. 

She is survived by her three children, Eileen (Randy) Borchardt of Bay City, Darcy (Pat) Hofmann of Arizona, and Robert Kreska of Bay City; a sister, Eileen Ramian of West Bromwich, England; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Judy, Keith, Julie, Bill, and John. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jeff Kreska. The family would like to give Compasses Hospice a big thank you for the wonderful care given to our mother.
