Sandy, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Great Lakes Rehab Center. Sandra Kay Neiderquill was born on July 14,1943 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Godfried and Linda (Kraatz) Neiderquill. For close to 40 years, she was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital, where she loved her job and the many cherished friendships she made during that time. Her sense of humor made her stand out, and she was always willing to crack a joke at any given time. Sandy loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Through the years she also loved the time she spent with her four-legged animals that she considered family. She had many hobbies including shopping for hours, suntanning, playing cards, and nights out at the Kosciuszko Club with old friends. She was also a long-time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Saginaw, Michigan.
Sandy is survived by her son, William “Bill”(Tina Hetrick) Brewer; son-in-law, Rick Ruiz; former daughter-in-law, Kelly Brewer; sister, Doris Billeter; six grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Brewer, Amy (Craig) Dengler, Ricky Ruiz, Stacy (Ryan) Summers, Courtney (Tracy Thomas) Brewer, and Carly (Jaruad Bulger) Brewer; eight great-grandchildren, Violet Brewer, Brooklyn Bulger, Lennon Summers, Lillian Brewer, Ezekiel Brewer, Jaruad Bulger Jr., Lorelai Summers, and Neveah Bulger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother, John Neiderquill; sisters, Mary Salesky and Carol Enszer; and daughter, Dana Ruiz.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 5335 Brockway Road, Saginaw, Michigan.
