Kenneth (Ken, Kenny) Cook of Mt Pleasant, Michigan passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the age of 81.  Kenneth was born on April 13, 1941 to the late Fritz Cook and Coila (Morey) Cook. Of the three children born to Coila and Fritz, Kenneth was the middle child. He loved working with his hands and found his calling in manufacturing services, welding, and woodworking. In March of 1959, Ken and his late wife, Judy Cook, were married. Ken and Judy went on to have three children, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  

Ken enjoyed being outdoors and particularly loved hunting, fishing, camping, and keeping his lawn immaculate. His love of yard work included tending to flower beds, gardens and mowing his lawn and his neighbor’s lawn to perfection.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Judy. He is survived by his three children, Renae (Thomas) Wheeler, Rodney (Lourdes) Cook, and Kevin (Patty) Cook; his two siblings, Joan Shoemaker and Jerry Cook; and his nine grandchildren, Nathaniel (Heather) Wheeler, Nicole (Gary) Beck-Irrer, Saundra (Joshua) Rozenboom, Jonathan (Jodi) Wheeler, Jessica (Jerry) Cook-Peterson, Justin Cook, Timothy (Danika) Wheeler, Kenneth (Marina) Cook and Aaron Wheeler.
