Suzanne, age 83, passed away May 1, 2023. She was born September 22, 1939 to the late Douglas and Gertrude Potts.

Suzanne graduated from St. Mary’s Cathedral in 1957 and from Aquinas College in 1961. She went to receive Masters Degrees from Aquinas, Western Michigan, and Michigan State University.

Suzanne was a Dominican Sister for over 20 years. She later worked as a social worker for the Salvation Army in Grand Rapids. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saginaw, Michigan.

Suzanne's family was the center of her life, and she treasured time spent with her brothers, sisters- in -law, nieces, and nephews. She loved traveling and enjoyed spending time in the Southwest with her aunt and cousins. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends who she loved to keep in contact with through her cheerful phone calls. She always delighted in sharing her family news.

The Potts family would like to thank the staff on seventh floor of Covenant Cooper who lovingly cared for Suzanne before and at the time of her passing.

Surviving are brothers, David Potts (Debbie Greenwood), Stephen (Barbara) Potts; sister-in-law, Peggy Potts; nieces Christine (Brad) Scheidhauer, Laura (Howard) Portnoi, and Stephanie Potts; nephew, Timothy (Monique) Potts; great- nieces, Eleanor and Jane Scheidhauer; and great-nephews, Mateo and Alejandro Cueto-Potts. Suzanne was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Potts; sister-in- law, Sandra Potts; and nephew, Jeffery Potts.
