Matthew, age 61, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, surrounded by his wife and children.  He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 10, 1961 to the late Donald and JoAnn Thomas. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Although he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, worked as awesome mechanic. and helping family and friends, his greatest love was being with his family, who weren’t just a part of his life, they were his life.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Thomas; daughter, Amy (Nicky), and sons, Matthew (Oni) and Gabriel; brother, Donald Thomas; sisters, Rebecca (Serdar) Olgac, JoBeth (Vince) Vasquez, Jennifer (Matthew) Tarrant; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Robin Thomas.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1415 Center Rd. Saginaw MI 48603, with a luncheon to follow.  Bishop Matthew Deibel will officiate.
