Obituary of Craig Scott Chall

Craig Scott Chall, age 72, of Frankenmuth Michigan, passed away at his home on June 5, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.  He was born to Eleanore Jones Chall and the late Curwood “Woody” Chall. He was born May 20, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He graduated from Wayne State University in June of 1974 and subsequently resided and worked in the metro Detroit area until his retirement, when he returned to Frankenmuth.  He enjoyed reading, nature walks, biking, sudoku, grandchildren, and a good meal.

 

He is survived by his spouse, Catherine (Dub-Chandonais) Chall; children, Corey Chall, Colin Chall, Cristin (Alice Hope) Chall, Cary Chall, Michael (Bethany Dory) Chndonais, and Daniel (Lisa Trombley) Chandonais; grandchildren, Justin Chall, Dillian (Angelica Elizalde) Chall, Nathan Chall, Lizbeth Chall, Jacen Chall, Kiel Chall, Hannah Chandonais, Lia Chandonais, Benjamin Chandonais, and Addison Chandonais; a brother, Mark (Laurie) Chall; and a sister, Stacy (Jim) Veno; sister-in-law, Debbie Chall. He was predeceased by his younger brother, Robin Chall.
