Obituary of Staci Jo Santiago-Beatenhead

Staci Jo Santiago-Beatenhead, age 47, of Prescott, Michigan, passed away at home on June 14, 2023. She was born on May 26, 1976, to Jose and Peggy (Freeman) Santiago. She was raised in the Prescott area and attended Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools. Staci went on to become a CNA and worked for 15 years. She married Thomas Beatenhead in 2012 at the Judson Baptist Church in Prescott. Staci had a passion for putting other’s needs before her own. She was involved with high school sports by volunteering to run concession stands, take tickets and always attending her kid’s games. She was family oriented, and they came first. She loved making memories by enjoying nature, going to Cracker Barrel, and spending time with her family.

Staci is survived by her children, Devin (Kassidy) Santiago and Sarah Beatenhead-Santiago; grandchildren, Natalie, Shelbi, and Loralai; mother, Peggy (Dale) Kocks; sister, Teresa (Brian) Crain; aunts, Diana Knight, Pamela Winkowski, and Karen Freeman; uncle, Herb Freeman; nieces, Emily (Matt Rau) Cronin, Katelynn Cronin, Ariana Crain, and Miley Crain; great niece, Dani Jennings; nephew, Jeff (Latrisha) Dickeson; great-nephew, Owen Rau; and special cousins, Cy and Dominic Culhane. Staci was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Beatenhead; father, Jose Santiago; and step-brother, Jeffrey Dickeson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Skidway Lake Chamber of Commerce Hall, 2777 E.
