Kimberly Michelle Veitengruber of Frankenmuth, Michigan went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 15, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side, at the age of 61.
Kim was born on November 28, 1961 to Barbara (Reynolds) and the late Carl Kenworthy in Pontiac, Michigan. On September 1, 2001, Kim married her best friend, Paul Edward Veitengruber. He survives her.
Kim was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth, and she was proud to be employed at Frankenmuth Credit Union for 33 years. Kim most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and deer hunting. Kim touched many lives through her countless hours of volunteering. She will be missed by many.
Surviving besides her husband, Paul, and her mother, is her beloved son, Josh Veitengruber; sister, Wendy Kenworthy, brothers Mike (Rachelle) Kenworthy and Chris (Kathy) Kenworthy; father-in-law Harry Veitengruber; brothers-in-law Phil (Joanna) Veitengruber, Mike (Anne) Veitengruber, Tom Veitengruber; sister-in-law Karen (Bill) Bender; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father, Kim was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Joan Veitengruber.
According to Kim’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
