Obituary of Dennis Michael Todd

Dennis Michael Todd, age 67 went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 19, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Franklin D. and Sarah Ann (Harris) Todd. Dennis graduated from T.L. Handy High School and married Rosemary Getyina on October 26, 1974. Together they had two children, Michael and Rachel, and three granddaughters whom he loved dearly. Dennis worked a variety of jobs. The most recent several years, he worked for Williams Cheese Factory where he could do any job.

Dennis was a family man and also enjoyed spending time with his friends, just hanging out, listening to music, doing crossword puzzles, and watching game shows. His family always marveled at how many of the Jeopardy answers he knew. One of his favorite pastimes was when he and Rose would just take a drive together.

Dennis leaves behind, Rose, his wife of 48 years; son, Michael (Leah) Todd; daughter, Rachel (Jason Benkert) Todd; granddaughters, Alissa Todd, Rebecca (Travis Nietling) Hahn, and Elsie Rose Todd; mother, Sarah Todd; brother, Steve Todd; sisters, Denise (Richard) Taglauer, Julie (Marty) Getyina - married to Rose’s brother; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Todd, Sandy O’Dell, and Val (Larry) Rocheleau; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother Frank; his mother & father-in-law; brother-in-law, Elmer Getyina; sisters-in-law, Wanda Gies and Liz Stagray.
