Obituary of Phillip Ray DuBois

Phillip R. DuBois, age 62, of Midland, peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at his home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born on June 12, 1961. Phil was a very kind, compassionate soul who went “above and beyond” for his loved ones. He was a man of great detail, meticulous in everything he did. His interests of Nascar, hot rod cars, snowmobiling, motorcycles, and RC airplanes brought him great joy.

He leaves behind his significant other, Abbie Finney; siblings, Sandra Benaway, Thomas Benaway, Marty Benaway, Paul DuBois, and Joyce DuBois; aunt, Margaret Hupman; many cousins, nieces and nephews; step-daughters, Lacey Finney and Samantha Cox; and grandson, Aiden Finney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barton DuBois and Doris DuBois; sister, Nancy Benaway; and his brother, Charles “Chucky” Benaway.

 In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Pardee Cancer Foundation of Midland.
