Obituary of Carol Sue Cox-Pursley

Carol passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  She was born December 7, 1951 to the late Dr. George Cox and Dr. Sue Clarke Cox.  Carol was a Psychologist in Atlanta Georgia, earning her Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, and her Doctorate from the University of Kentucky. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed nature and gardening. Carol also loved spending time in the Smoky Mountains, watching sports, and meeting new people.

She is survived by her son, Drew Pursley; daughter-in-law, Tionna Pursley; and grandsons, William Pursley & Isaiah Pursley.
