The year you came was a busy time. You were one of four that year. Cousin Ed was first on March 18, then Cousin Deb was second on April 3, then in July came you and Cousin Jerry. You were all well loved and "spoiled roten" just like the rest of the cousins. (I should know, I used to babysit for alot of you.) That was fine, we grew up knowing each other.
You were the one, little "pest" I had the most. Being my baby sister. We had some interesting times.
We l were together after school. I would wait for you and bring you across the road holding your hand. Until the day you slapped my hand away and said "I think I'm able to cross the street by myself, DeeDee."
You were 16 years old and really didn't need to hold my hand anymore.
Then there was the time we were arguing (l don't remember what about). Mom came into the room and said "praise the Lord anyway".
We both cracked up laughing. It served its purpose, we quit arguing.
Also the time you took my favorite shirt and sewed the sides up from the cuffs to the bottom hem so you could wear it.
That is just a few of the things that went on while we were growing up. There were many more. We had a lot to laugh about while growing older.
I will miss you just as I still miss our older sister Marsha but I have many memories to keep that smile on my face. Love you forever!
