It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth “Ed” Card, age 84, of Midland. Ed passed away at MyMichigan Medical Center with family members at his side, on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
He was born to the late Gerald and Twyla Card on April 6, 1939. Ed married Pauline (Polly) Hartman September 24,1960 in Gladwin and shared sixty-three years together until he preceded her in death. Ed was a Dow Corning retiree as a multi-tradesman. He was a life-long outdoorsman/hunting and fishing. He developed a passion for woodworking and gardening after retirement.
Ed is survived by his wife, Polly; son, Dirk Card (wife Stephanie); and daughter, Paige Card-McMillen (husband Scott); siblings, Leroy Card and Dee Card-Glowacki; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother, Robert Card.
