Obituary of Linda Sue Holt

Linda Sue Holt, long time resident of Freeland, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 31, 2023, at the age of 78. She was born on February 5, 1945, to Luella and Kenneth Kimball of Detroit, Michigan. Linda was a Christian and member of Freeland Methodist and Hopevale Church. Everyone who knew her loved her and she always put others before herself. Linda enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Lake Mitchell, and bird watching. She was also an R.N. and a business owner. She cherished her nine grandchildren, Kaleigh, Keaton, Kara, Gracie, Alex, Eli, Mia, Layne, and Jackson; in addition to 4 great-grandchildren, Garrett, Brooklyn, Vincent and Theo. Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary Holt; and her sons, Kevin (Maranie), Steve (Alicia), and Keith (Christie), Keith had predeceased her in 2022.
