Larry passed away September 4, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born July 28, 1943 to Adam and Irene (Kielpinski) Tomczak.  Larry attended St. Stans, St. James, and Delta College where he earned an Associate Degree. Larry joined the Navy and had many fond memories of being aboard the USS Fremont and his embassy duty in Barcelona Spain. Larry retired from General Motors, working first at the foundry, and then retiring from Saginaw Steering Gear. He worked several years as a union representative while at Saginaw Steering Gear. Larry was a dedicated Democrat and enjoyed talking politics. Larry enjoyed yard work, dining out, and watching Border Collies at Stock Dog trials.

Larry is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Sherry, Denny and Amy; and step-children, Kelly, Matt, Jamie, and Kate. He is also survived by his brother, Dan; sister, Bernadine; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Irene; sisters, Monica and Pat; and his oldest son, Larry Joe.
