Adams, Kenneth L.

 Ken passed away peacefully at Brian's House on September 13, 2023, at the age of 87. He was born on September 19,1935 to the late Floyd and Dorothy Adams in Sigel Township. He met and married Maryann Peck on July 18 1964 in Pinnebog, Michigan, residing in Munger Michigan. He was a member of the PLAV Post #162, Amvets Post #22, after having served in the U.S. Army as a tank commander in Korea. He was a farmer, insurance agent, and car salesman. When he retired, he went to work for Al Hanson Motors of Bad Axe.  He enjoyed gardening in his garden, and spending time with his family watching U of M and the Lions.

Surviving are his wife Maryann, of 59 years; two sons, Scott Adams of Munger Michigan and Michael (Brenda) Adams of Bay City, Michigan; three grandchildren, Joshua Umphrey, Nicholas Adams, and Lauren Adams; many nieces and nephews; one brother, Tom; and three sisters, Jean, Joyce, and Karen. He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Jim and John.  

In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private ceremony is being planned at Verona Township Cemetery in Huron County. The family would like to extend a genuine Thank You to the great staff at both McLaren Bay Region 6 East and at Brain's House.
